Jill Murray is awesome. She made a big pot o? white beans and blogged the whole thing. On the menu: Bean & Provencal Stew, Fettucine Alfonso (with homemade pasta ? go see how easy it is!), White Bean Croquettes on a Bed of Corn and Spinach in Portabello Wine Sauce (learn why putting something on a bed of something makes you 40% cooler) and some other stuff. She must be a Virgo or something (not that I believe in that) because she kept track of what the whole venture cost:

Cumulative total servings for the whole pot ?o beans: 15

Average cost per serving: $0.65

So again I implore you to go make a big pot o? beans! That's the last time I say it. You can bring a horse to water but you can't make him drink. And vegans shouldn't be making horses do anything, anyway.
