Robot Cupcakes

by IsaChandra

These were made by Amanda in Memphis. She writes:

“Monday was my niece’s 5th birthday, so we had her party Sunday afternoon.

There was a robot theme to the party, so I set about coming up with something robot-y. Now, granted, I’m telling everyone that these could also be viewed as monsters or aliens but I choose to view them as little robots.”

The recipe is from kittee at pakupaku.

I am especially impressed with the improv-ed cupcake tower, it was actually her mom’s spice rack. Cupcakes are the mother of invention.

Very cool to see you’ve got a website for your book. I’m anxiously waiting my copy in the mail.
I love the cupcake tower you did for your friend’s wedding. I hope you had some time to ditch the apron and dance.

    Hey Isa,
I was just at Target today and they’ve got Halloween cupcake stuff for sale. Baking papers and that sort of thing, but they’ve got two different cupcake towers.

One’s Jack O’Lantern shaped (I think it’s $12) and the other looks like that spice rack (for about $20), kinda.
