The Cupcake Prayer

God, grant me the serenity to bake 6 dozen cupcakes in my shoddy oven whose temperature keeps fluctuating and burning the bottoms. The courage to call my landlord and tell him I need a new oven. And the wisdom to know what he will never get me one because what does he care?

Don’t forget, MooShoes tonight for the VCTOW release party. Free cupcakes and soymilks. If my oven cooperates.

    Well, everything went more than okay! We had cupcakes galore still, lots of happy cupcake eaters and a great time partying at MooShoes yesterday. Thanks to everyone who turned out for the fun, good company and good eats. We loves yous guys.

    I’m so glad your event at Mooshoes went well- I don’t know what I like more- cupcakes or mooshoes. Could you guys find a way to combine the two?

    This was such a fun event. The food was great and the cupcakes — awesome! I bought the book at the event, so tasting the cupcakes before making them myself was a real bonus. I have a question though, I think I know what all of the cupcakes were except for the one I liked the best: the mini vanilla cupcake with piped white icing and pink sugar sprinkles. Can you tell me which one that was? Thanks so much!
