Fruit Pleather Decorating

Why didn’t I think of that? I guess sometimes you can’t see the forest for the trees. Cut out little shapes from fruit leather make adorable cupcake toppers!

i know you loathe cupcakes at this point, but this is a fantastic idea! ::smacking self in head:: i have a birthday party for my 4 year old coming up, and i was going to set out items for them to use to decorate their cupcakes. fruit pleather is an awesome option.

This is harder than it looks! My advice: Get the thinnest fruit leather you can find, and the sharpest cookie cutters. I stole this idea from an omni friend for my daughter’s last birthday. Very cute.

I like to call it fruit paper, and then you don’t even have to type/write.say “leather” or ‘pleather.”
