Whatcha’ Doin’ This Weekend? Listening To A Podcast?

by IsaChandra

That’s right. Naked Vaygun Episode 1. It’s almost like a real show, although I am still echoing a bit, we hope to have that cleared up next Ep.

This episode we discuss my falling out with Peter Singer over cupcakes, Moo Shoes Grand Opening and why Justin Moo can not be trusted to sell boots, Food Fight’s new mural, a painting by Corey Feldman for Corey Haim or vice versa. Plus we give some really long winded, bad advice to hurting vegans which in all honestly you can probably fast forward through because it was in dire need of some editing. We also tie up some loose ends and play a Brown Bird Rudy Relic song. Oh, and some adult advice on what to do if your cat jumps on your lap while you’re masturbating.

Other links for this episode:

Minor Threat Hot Sauce

HSUS Coats For Cubs

Drew Carey Votes Republican

Next week we’ll have bad holiday advice and maybe our website will be up!

Oh! awesome! I didn’t know about the (other) first episode. I think it’s great that you’ve got a podcast now. You guys are hilarious.

Just a thought: do you guys think you could somehow put this up in the iTunes podcast directory? That way each time you do a new one, it automatically downloads so we never miss a show.

It is up in there. Just search for Naked Vaygun in yout iTunes store.

  • December 14, 2007 at 2:12 pm: Nick

Oh, I hadn’t checked before I posted that. Thanks Isa :)

    Oh yeah! Downloading now.

I’m glad someone bid on the Corey art. That was just kind of sad.

I just subscribed and are downloading the first episodes right now! I will have to figure how to keep listening when I abandon iTunes and Windows in a near future because I’m already convinced that I’m going to love the show and that it will be a nice addiction along with the one I got for VeganFreak. Anyhow I searched on Vaygun and iTunes asked me “did you mean to search for raygun” o_0 umm no but still fun.

  • December 15, 2007 at 1:10 pm: IsaChandra

I think it’s a joke by one very sick and angry man.

  • December 15, 2007 at 5:27 pm: New York Times Podcast Review

It is a joke, both episodes are hilarious.

no end in sight is a must see! there are so… many war documentaries, but this one is essential, especially if you weren’t paying much attention during the initial days of the start of the war. watch it!

Isa, I am in heart with you after that podcast. I also think that if anyone has read any of your cookbooks, they should know that you are not the coddling baker-type! You made me laugh so much (oh and the other guy too). I have two dogs and they like to sit near the lap too, so annoying…

Ok, how odd is this..I just finished taking an ethics class this last semester where we read a few of Singer’s essays. From his writings I would not picture him being someone opposed to cupcakes, especially vegan cupcakes. I guess it is a testament to his writing in that he keeps an air of personal detachment.

  • December 21, 2007 at 1:57 pm: IsaChandra

I don’t think he’s really opposed to cupcakes, just sick of them?

  • December 23, 2007 at 3:18 am: Carl

Yea, possibly. But c’mon. Who could get sick of cupcakes. Especially the ones from your books. I mean, they are almost as good as cute fuzzy cats.

  • December 23, 2007 at 3:20 am: Carl

Oh wait, that didn’t sound right. D’OH!! I meant almost as good as cute fuzzy cat cuddles.

hello! Yesterday and tonight I watch the PPK episodes first time at Googlevideo, and I loved them! I ?think your cooking show have the best mental attitude of any cooking programms which I have seen before! Offcourse I liked The PPK because I`m vegan and usually the foods which are prepared in cooking programmes which I usually can see in TV are full of meat, eggs and milk products, and definately not suitable for vegans! But I also liked mutch at your style to make PPK episodes, It`s wery !easy going” and that rocks!! And the foods-they looks so F*cking delish ;)!
I can`t wait new episodes! Keep on rocking and spreading the vegan message all over the worold..

I love the cookbooks but I don’t get this podcast. What’s the point of it? Maybe I’m missing the point. I don’t think it’s for me though.

Wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee! Can’t wait to listen in…This will motivate me to get my iPod fixed…again.
