Vegan Brunch Has Arrived!
by IsaChandra

You know that party guest that shows up 2 hours early and then you don’t have time to put your make up on and they won’t stop talking about their irritable bowel syndrome? Well, that is the exact opposite of Vegan Brunch arriving early.
I’ve put up a bunch of samples recipes for you to check out; Chesapeake Tempeh Cakes, Puttanesca Scramble, Pumpkin French Toast, Herbed Whole Wheat Drop Biscuits and Smoked Almond Gravy. I hope that you guys have as much fun cooking from it as I did creating it. Let me know if you’ve got it and what you think so far. You can pick it up at Amazon, but Cosmo’s Vegan Shoppe is having a sale right now, too!

I said Pumpkin French Toast!

Your book has just arrived in the mail – perfect to get it on a Friday! My husband and I are so excited (brunch is our favorite meal to prepare). And thank you for including a vegan version of rabanadas. I have great memories of making them with my dad when I was a kid, in Brazil, at Christmas morning. Great job, Isa! Cheers.

Yesterday I got my copy -I’m really suprised how fast it arrived to Poland, usually I’d wait about a month! The book is amazingly written, you can just seat down and read it, not only stare at the photos and take a peak to the recipes.
However, I just can’t imagine eating potatoes for brunch… yuck :P -

Hi Isa,
My wife got this as gift at her birthday brunch last Sunday. I’ve already made the tofu scramble (best I’ve ever had) and the chorizo (better than the Field Roast my friends keep going on about)! Thanks for the inspirations.

This book is absolutely great. The chapter on sausage literally took my breath away. I gasped when I turned the page and saw the sausage chapter title. Kudos to such great vegan cooking and keep up the good work.

I have made the chocolate raspberry muffins (incredible) the herbed biscuits (amazing) the zuchini spelt muffins (rustic goodness) and the orange cranberry muffins, which are the best muffins I have ever eaten in my life. I have all of your cookbooks but I think this one will be my favorite. Thank you for writing it!

SO. GOOD. OHMYGOSH. I spent months looking for canned pumpkin to make this, because of some floods down south that ruined all of last year’s crops and yada yada, until my friend scoured his mom’s basement and marvelously produced some a few weeks ago. I’ve made this four times now, and my non-veg friends all said it kicked regular french toast’s butt. I wholeheartedly agree. I used lots of pumpkin pie spice, cinnamon, and ginger for the spices; added an extra teaspoon of vanilla; and tossed in a small handful of brown sugar. Divine.
