68) Coconut Fiber
Coconut Fiber (Coir) is great alternative to peat moss – it retains water, resists compacting, and it lasts for up to five years. It’s a by-product of coconut plantations, so it’s a renewable resource that’s much more eco-friendly than peat moss. It’s a really neat product that should learn more about if you’re a serious gardener. (by Katie)
