I just wanted to warn people that Daiya cream cheese can not be substituted for tofutti in cooked cheesecake recipes. It makes a sticky, gummy and just plain gross cheesecake mess. Very disappointed! I think they should have a warning on the container that says it does not behave like any other vegan cream cheese on the market when cooked.

Thanks for the heads up, I was definitely planning on using a tub of it to make a cheesecake this weekend. I will no longer do this.

I've had one that used Daiya and was yummy. I could try to find out what she did.
