16) The Gnocchi at Portobello PDX

Anyone who enters this Portland eatery exits with a serious disease: they can not shut the hell up about the gnocchi. The sauce ingredients are seasonal, sometimes it’s a pesto, sometimes a red sauce, but any which way it’s perfect. The gnocchi made practically everyone’s list, but author Alan Dubinsky went on and on. “Aaron Adams & Portobello. Dude is so on point. Wait until you try the beet burger. You’d think it’s just a dumb ol’ veggie burger, but it is so much more. Has anyone outside of Mother Russia done more for the beet than this guy? And the pizza! Fork, the pizza… TIRAMISU. Drool. My favorite restaurant, hands down.”
