47) Cocoa from the Grenada Chocolate Company

Back in the day (you know, 500 years ago) chocolate was consumed hot and spicy and unsweetened. The Our Hen House girls kick it old school. Mariann says “We have cocoa powder with hot water every morning. When you have it that way, you really taste the cocoa, and this stuff is damn good. And it’s from a grower-owned cooperative in a country with fair labor laws.”
