64) Lentil taco meat
My linguist friends are fond of telling me that the word “meat” once meant “beans.” And so maybe a Cromagnon man is reading this and saying “What do you mean lentil meat? That’s redundant! All beans are meat!” 2011 saw us lightly mashing lentils to be used in place of ground meat in almost everything. Mostly for tacos, but also for bolognese, for ravioli fillings, for lentil helper…lentils can’t stop/won’t stop.
