There’s just something about smoke that makes vegans feel a little bit naughty. Some of our favorite simple smoky bites: tofu, shiitake mushrooms, tomatoes, seitan, and homemade sausages. Jess Sconed inspired me to get one and she hasn’t blogged as much about hers as I wish she had, but she did post a whole bunch of smoked food on the PPK forums last March, including a block of homemade smoked potato nut cheese.
