Mushroom Keeche
Submitted by Maryno
prep time: 15 minutes | cooking time: 45 minutes | makes a keeche! figure out yourself!
I wanted to have something that tasted like a cream cheese-mushroom quiche... thats the result, who may look like a weird brownish-greyish custard, but definitly yummy.
Equipment:
A pan
A pot
A "pie plate"
Wooden spoon
Cutting board
A knife
A blender

Ingredients
A small onion, coarsly chopped
2 cups of mushrooms, coarsly chopped
1 tablespoon or 2 of tamari (or bragg)
3 tablespoons of nutritional yeast
Half a pack of extra firm silken tofu
2 tablespoons of horseradish mustard
3 tablespoons of cashew butter

A pie crust (I like it whole-wheat)

Directions
Pre-heat oven to 375 F.
In a pan, saut? the onions and the mushrooms with a bit of olive oil and tamari sauce.
When cooked, let cool down and put in a blender with all the other ingredients, except for the pie crust.
Then put the smooth mixture in the pie crust and bake for 45 minutes.

Enjoy!!
