The best vegan easter recipes on the whole internet

Easter is almost here and I have some very important questions. Are you doing a whole glazed tofu ham situation or a meatloaf? Are Pierogi part of your tradition? Would you even notice if I snuck a Passover classic into this list?

And most importantly: How cute are those little Carrots in a Blanket?  Actually, there is so much that is so cute. I mean, it’s all about bunnies and chicks so cuteness is inevitable. I even hear they make vegan Peeps now. But I won’t link to it because I don’t want you to leave my website just yet.

Because whatever your vegan Easter table looks like, there is something here for every tradition, every crowd, and every level of ambition. So hop to it (groan).

Potato Pierogi

Snuggy Bunnies (Carrots in a Blanket) The cutest thing on the table! Smoky roasted baby carrots wrapped in puff pastry with sesame seeds on top. Make these first and stash some for yourself because they will be gone in thirty seconds flat.

Devilish Potatoes Vegan deviled eggs made out of potatoes because we are very clever. People lose their minds over these every single year and honestly same.

Potato Pierogi with Caramelized Onions Soft pillowy dumplings filled with potato, topped with deeply caramelized onions. They take some time but they are the kind of thing people will remember forever. Think of it as your legacy.

Sweet & Smoky Glazed Tofu Ham Make 2 or 3. Ok honestly make 4. Glazed, scored, caramelized, and impressive enough to drop jaws when you bring it out. The Easter main that started it all.

Eggplant Potato Moussaka Layers of roasted eggplant, potato, and a rich cashew cream that will make you feel like you are on a Greek island instead of your kitchen. Make it the day before and it’s even better.

Members Only Vegan Meatloaf Meatloaf on Easter is totally a thing now. We decided. The meatiest meatloaf with a smoky sweet glaze that gets even more caramelized the second day, if it lasts that long.

Vegan Classic Carrot Cake
Carrot Cake

Cauliflower Leek Kugel Yes I snuck a Passover recipe onto your Easter table. Tee-hee. Creamy cauliflower, sweet leeks, crunchy toasted almond crust. It fits right in and nobody has to know.

Tofu Frittata with Asparagus & Sundried Tomato Stupidly impressive for something that is basically a crustless quiche. Eggy, golden, full of spring vegetables. Easter brunch just got a centerpiece.

Classic Carrot Cake Moist, warmly spiced, with a fluffy lemon coconut oil frosting that is honestly better than cream cheese frosting. I said what I said. This is the Easter dessert. Everyone knows it. Why are we still talking about it?

Lemon Cookies

Chocolate Raspberry Blackout Cake For when you want something on the table that makes people stop mid-conversation. Deep chocolate, raspberry, layers of ganache. It has been doing that to people since 2005 and it still works.

Pink Grapefruit Cupcakes Citrusy and a little unexpected. For the person who wants something bright and just slightly tart instead of chocolate or carrot cake.

Lemon Cutout Cookies with Lemon Icing Bright, buttery, lemony, and they look exactly like Easter should look. Cut them into bunnies, eggs, flowers, whatever you’ve got. Put them on a tray and try to be cool about it.
