Winter is upon us and what is more comforting and warming than a hot bowl of soup while we curl up on the couch and write our revolutionary manifestos? Or, whatever, watch TV. These soups utilize seasonal ingredients and pantry items that are easy to store and have on hand so no need to run to the health food store in the snow. They are from our upcoming cookbook (to be released in February '08). We know that is too long to wait but hopefully these will tide you over.

About our Recipes
The Post Punk Kitchen is dedicated to bringing you exciting and delicious vegan recipes. Our recipes are tested and perfected, so you won't end up with any old vegan cupcakes, you will get a slammin' vegan cupcake. For the most part we try to keep the ingredients simple and easy to find, but from time to time we call for things that you may not be accustomed to using. If you’re excited about trying new things, or already a pro at vegetarian cooking, great! If not, just give it a try. Sometimes it’s a pain in the butt, having to boil the agar agar, blend the tofu, melt this and saute that, all for one dish, but it gets easier and faster as you get used to it. Try it for a special occasion, and if you need help, we’re here for you, just an email away! You can also submit a recipe of your own. We will review and post it within a couple of days.
